How to Measure for Lace Wigs:
Pin your hair as flat and as tight as possible before taking measurements. This will eliminate bulges that distort head contours while putting on hairpiece. Place wig cap on to further secure
1. Measure the circumference of the head: Measure all around the head for your wig. Position tape measure so the edge is following the hairline around the head and nape of the neck. (Average wig measurement is 22 inches).
2. Measure from forehead to nape of neck: Place tape at hairline at center of forehead straight back over crown to center of hairline at nape of neck. (Average wig measurement is 13 1/2 inches).
3. Ear to ear across front hairline. Start to measure at front of ear, measure from hairline at base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of other ear. (Average wig measurement is 11 1/2).
4. Measure hairline directly above ear across top of head to the other ear. (Average measurement is 11 inches)
5. Measure for your wig temple to temple of hairline across the back of head. (Average measurement is 14 inches).
