Growing strong shiny hair depends on vital nutrients from the inside. Eating natural healthy foods will help you grow natural healthy hair. Natural vitamins are the basic building blocks. Foods like beans which has protein. Vegetables like butternut squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes which have high amounts of vitamin A as much as 38,000 IU per half cup serving is essential. Whole grains like oatmeal is a good choice. Brown rice has adequate B vitamins and biotin. Biotin is recommended to prevent hair loss. The antioxidant Vitamin C is required for collagen formation, tissue and growth repair. Vitamin C also boosts immunity. It is not made in the body so it must be taken as a supplement along with natural food sources. Salmon has protein and high amounts of essential fatty acids omega 3. Essential fatty acids are good fats and are vital for health of your skin hair eyes and nails. Wild salmon is best. Tuna, sardines along with other types of fish contain essential fatty acids. Flaxseeds and flaxseed oil is a good choice. Flaxseed oil is available in capsule form. This is excellent for dry hair. Obtaining vitamins from natural food sources is excellent choice and highly recommended. Your body can incorporate natural food source vitamins easier. If you don't have access to the wide variety of natural food, alternate with a vitamin supplement. Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Taking supplements will help if you don’t consume a lot of healthy foods in your diet. Always discuss any vitamin supplements you are taking with your doctor. A quality hair vitamin will usually contain all the nutrients required to grow strong shiny hair.
